I hope you don?t mind me posting on your forum thread.

I am working on a new channel 4 series called The Village and we are looking for families to take part in filming who would like the chance to win a 3 bedroom cottage in a beautiful Yorkshire village and start a new life mortgage free.

The reason I am posting this here is that I am really trying to find families that will give a true representation of the diversity in the UK today and seeing as I think most of you aren't a million miles away from the village in question (North Yorkshire) I thought you might be particularly interested so thought I?d pass on the info about the series.

Families will each move to the village for 1 week in which time they can win over the local residents with their skills/interests/passions and the local community themselves are the ones who have the final say on who wins the house and becomes the newest members of the village.

If you would like to find out a bit more please do get in touch or if you could pass this onto other families who might be interested that would be wonderful.
