Looking for some help please if possible. Recently realised that I am bi having been in a long term hetro relationship.

Wondering if anyone knows of any forums that I can join to meet women? Not quite ready to jump into dating apps just yet.

No, they're private groups. No-one will see that you're in them.
Word of warning though, if you make FB friends with people, give them a heads-up that you're not out. My friend inadvertently outed me by tagging me in a photo where I was dressed in Pride gear. That was how my Mum found out. It's all fine now but I would have preferred to tell her myself

Diva is huge. The other group, Blooming Late is, I think, a secret group because people coming out later in life sometimes need more secrecy. The last time I added people to the group, I had to friend them on Facebook first and then add them.

just adding my thoughts :) I came out late too a few years ago now. I used the Her app quite a few times over the years between relationships and I've found that unlike hetero dating aps, it's really acceptable to go on there looking for friends so you could also do that if you wanted to :) Good luck with everything, it's a nice journey to start on :)

Hey seen some of the comments on this advice where to look but I'm not on social media. I've gave up on dating sites aa it's the same old faces in the lesbian world. Does anyone have anymore recommendations? And did the person who wrote this have any luck? I'm a mother too and a single I would prefer to meet another women with kids.

I cannot tell you what a breath of fresh air it is to find a forum like this!
I’m divorced with 17 and 22 year old kids, still at home, and I feel now in a position to acknowledge to myself that I prefer women! It’s always been there, I just pushed it to one side for years.
