I am looking to find an LGBT+ parent group in London. I know there was a group for lesbian families in Dulwich but that doesn’t seem to be that active any more.

Hello, my wife and I live in Northampton, UK (about 60 miles north of London). We have a one year old son and would love to meet some other lesbian parents. Are there any other lesbian parents nearby who would like to arrange a meet up? We drive so you don’t have to be in Northampton necessarily, just local-ish.

Hello - Mobilise Arts are bringing our show The Queer Motherhood Project to London at The King's Head Theatre on Sunday 10th November. We're aiming to give radical visibility to folks who are often excluded from the motherhood narrative! It's a show with new live music, video clips from interviews we've done with all sorts of queer mothers, and will include verbatim text from surveys that queer mothers have filled out from all over the country.

Hi all! My partner and I have 2 young ones and we’d love to meet up with other families like ours based in London. We are in Fulham but happy to move around. If the WhatsApp group is still running, how do we join?
I am also thinking of organising a get together myself perhaps in south London (Brockwell park) one weekend so please get in touch if this is of interest, and if there is enough response, I will put this together :)

Hi everyone - I hope it’s okay to share this here! I’m the founder of Scout Kids (www.scoutkids.co.uk), a membership-based digital guide to the best things to do with kids in London.

One thing I kept hearing from LGBTQ+ parents (hopefully soon to be myself included!) was how hard it is to find programming and events which are either for or specifically represent LGBTQ+ families.

So we’ve added an LGBTQ+ family programming filter to the site - you can now easily find activities and events across London that are either designed for LGBTQ+ families, or explicitly welcoming and inclusive.

If you’re interested, feel free to check it out - we’d love your feedback on how to improve it too. And if you know of other great activities we should list, I’d love to hear about them - we’re always on the lookout to add more relevant LGBTQ+ family programming listings to the site.

We’re also hoping to expand in the future to create specific member events, including LGBTQ+ parent meetups.

I recommend searching for facebook parents groups, there are dozens of them, some are specifically for UK/London. I've also seen lots of London based parents in a gay surrogacy group Gay Fathers Surrogacy Network. I've made many connections through that group, some of them irl
