My partner and I are currently trying to conceive through sperm donor and IVF - it's halted at the moment as our treatment is abroad so we can't travel, but we have also been looking to move somewhere to start up with our growing family. We already live with my partner's Mum and a carer as her Mum is poorly.
I am quite social and am looking forward to getting to know a new community but I would also love to be able to mix with some people who share our experience of being in a same sex relationship and hopefully having children. When I research - all the classic places of London, Brighton and some of then big cities in the North come up but really we don't necessarily need this massively gay culture around us, just some shared experiences, and we would like to move out of London so a more semi urban or semi rural area that's smaller. Does anyone know areas that are within reach of London that are same sex friendly, or does anyone already live in places they know to have other same sex couples or LGBT families?
