Same Sex Parents in Blackpool:)

Hi Guys,

Looking to meet some same sex parents in the Blackpool area. I’ve been looking and can’t find any family social groups etc at the weekends as I work full time during the week. Is anybody aware of any or interested in trying to set up a meet?

Hello :) Me and my wife are TTC and based in Blackpool, ive just joined Mumsnet from this post, as when we eventually get lucky enough to conceive it would be great to know you and Theodore (great name btw!) I work on the Blackpool Cabaret scene, and as great as it is to get to know more LGBT people in the area, you don't meet too many families!

Hey both, I'm based in bispham. Currently going through the adoption process with my husband. No children ar the moment, but would be interested in meeting up for a coffee in the future as in regards to parenting... it's all new us!

Hi guys!! Sorry I've only just seen your replies... I came off here shortly after posting as we had a negative result month and then life took over. But... We got our BFP yesterday!!! So we're technically 4 weeks pregnant with a little peanut! It's early days yet but fingers crossed everything sticks and goes well!

Coffee and chats would be an amazing support, it's hard as the non bio mum... No one really prepares you for how you should feel. I feel like a scared dad haha!

I know, exactly how you’re feeling being the non bio mum comes with a whole heap of challenges. I only came on here too to post this so I’m not great with how it works.

I’m really interested in trying to arrange coffee morning or something of the like to try and meet up with people in the same boat as Theodore and I xxx

@Theodoresmama thank you so much ♥️ it's still early days but it's all looking good so far! I would be so up for that, it would be lovely to know another family like ours. We haven't even had a scan yet and I'm panicking about finding an inclusive school haha! There's so many hurdles and things to get your head around isn't there..

If all goes as planned.. Baby will be due in June 2020, and I'd love to start a little family meet up day ♥️

I'll have to start logging in here more often so we can all keep in touch! I'm so happy to know there's people like you guys around here, I'm not from here so I don't know many people who arnt my wifes friends haha
