What criteria did you use when choosing a sperm donor?

DW and I are trying to choose a sperm donor and are both feeling a bit overwhelmed by all our options! We are using the European Sperm Bank and have found that the number of donors that met our initial criteria is so large that we don't even know how to narrow it down any.

What criteria did you use to pick a sperm donor?

Having gone through failed IUI and failed rounds of IVF, my DP and I were quite picky when first choosing, height, eye colour, build, job etc...but after several failures for whatever reason all that went out the window in all honesty. Our final round we chose a donor with a couple of similar traits to me, Height, hair colour, interests and I went with an O Neg Donor (same blood group as me) & it worked! Currently 35.3 Weeks pregnant. Good Luck! x
