Are there any transwomen here who would mind talking to me?

I recently met a transwoman (I think that is the right term). She used to be a man but has not had any surgery although she lives as a woman and takes hormones. She identifies as a lesbian. I feel like we had a bit of a connection and got on like a house on fire. If I had to label myself, I would say I was mainly straight but had lesbian relationships in the past. A big if, but, can it work like this? How does it work? I haven't acted on anything and probably won't, to be honest. But I also don't want to say something that offends her and would like, at least, to have a friendship with her. Thanks for any advice.

The 2 I knew of on here were scared away by extreme trans-hating members using offensive language to create a rather scary and horrible atmosphere, with the permission of MNHQ.

Try Transpartners for a 'users guide'.

Its really very simple. She identifies as female just treat her as such.

I'm sure that you may at some point have some questions for her. In which case just ask. My brother is f2m trans and the thing that understandably bugs him the most is assumptions rather than asking him directly. Of course a little delicacy never hurt.
