Any bi/lesbian mums in the midlands area?

I'm 30, bi sexual and have a gf of nearly 2 years. I have a 7 year old DD from a previous relationship.

We don't know any other gay couples and we live in quite a conservative area, so you can imagine, our relationship doesn't always go down well unfortunately.

Anyway, be great to hear back from any like minded women in our area............or any area for that matter

My partner and I are in the West Midlands..we don't have any children yet be we're currently trying...

We have been together for 11 years (we're 31 and 35)..we have also not long moved out of a conservative area (kemilworth).... X

I am in a slightly different position to you as I have just separated from my partner of 14 years and we have 3 primary aged children. We moved to Nottingham after we had children and so everyone just assumed that I am straight. As my partner was not keen to discuss my past then it felt the path of least resistance to go along with this but I have always felt I have suppressed a whole part of me as I had previously been very open about my sexual orientation.
Where we live is pretty conservative and so I know that in the future it will create several challenges if/when I do find a new female partner :)
Anyway if you want to chat to like minded woman -although a single one - then I would love to.

I would just like to tell you all about Family Pride Festival, an activities, arts and music festival aimed at lgbt families and their friends. The event takes place in Staffordshire over 3 days and 3 nights and offers a huge range of fun workshops, outdoor activities and live music and entertainment all set in the beautiful Staffmoorlands countryside.
The event is now in its’ fourth year and this year will take place between 7th-10th August. Tickets are just £69 per adult inclusive of camping and all entertainment and all children go FREE.
The festival is great opportunity to meet lots of other lgbt families and enjoy an action packed, fun filled festival weekend!

Hi all, I know this post is old but we could really do with some advice. Our two year old daughter has started mentioning her dad ( he was a sperm donor ) we think this is because she hears my older children from a previous relationship saying they are going to see theirs !!!
Any ideas what we should say to her, bearing in mind she's two and of course has a dad out there !!!
