we are a lesbian couple wanting to start a family and we would really like to meet up with some lesbian couples that already have children to talk about how they went about it and how they both delt with being two lesbian mums. We would like abit of advice and we have some questions on how the non-biological parent manages and feels before, during and after the pregnancy. We hope that some of you will get intouch even if you dont live close enough to meet then we can chat via phone or email. we look forward to some feedback.x

We live in Maidenhead. Why not try www.rainbowfamilies.org.uk/ as they are based in your area. I'm sure there is a wealth of information nearer to home than we are!

Yeah we've looked on there i get abit confussed with all the internet stuff to be honest but will give it another go thanks.

We live in south London and would be happy to help, but there are about a trillion zillion lesbian mums in Brighton so I'm sure you could track down someone local Smile

sarayaz · 01/02/2012 12:46

do you know anyother sites that we could join as we cant seem to find anyone down here and that rainbowfamilies isnt as great as people say it has no chat point.

Hi, I have recently moved into `Torquay. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE!

Looking to have a coffee or just someone to chat too, I am a gay mum of two teenage children, new to area. Is there any links
or advice you ca give me on socialising and meeting new people,I am not too confident, I do not go outside the house since my partner left me last year. I am finding it so difficult and not sure what to do.
Please do you have any links for me?
Many thanks,

Hi, thought you might be interested in Rainbow Families South West which is a social group for LGBT parents to get together. It is a very relaxed and friendly group. You can contact us via [email protected] if you would like. Kind regards, Jeannette and Sarah-Jane

Rainbow Families Brighton has a Facebook page where you can chat once you join it - look it up on FB or follow the link from their website.

Hello everyone,
My CP and I had IUI in March and are expecting a daughter in November. Would like to meet people in a similar situation. Very happy to chat to people about our experiences etc.
:)
