DD has just bounced out of school and happily announced she has a girlfriend. Apparently she's really pretty and nice and DD has like her for a while.
Of course they're very young (Y7) and it's all very innocent, and I'm bracing myself for the almost-inevitable tears, but I'm delighted to know she had the confidence to just tell me and know I'd be happy if she's happy. And tonight, at least, she seems very very happy! 🥰
