Help - homophobic/biphobic bullying

Does anyone know how to deal with a secondary school who are not taking the homophobic bullying of DS 14 seriously?

It is being dealt with as one child's word against another - I'm certain they should be doing much much more under the terms of the Equality Act.

Any advice would be great please.

I've no experience of this, but wondered if it could be escalated to the school governing body, op, if they are not taking this seriously. x

Thank you @marmitecake - I have sent an email to the head detailing what has happened, what staff have told me, what has not happened that should have according to the school bullying policy and asking what the school are going to do. I have asked that all communication going forwards is now in writing.

Depending on the response I think that the governors will have to be my next port of call.
