Know what exactly? When I was gay? Always sort of but 4 is too young for you to be worrying about your child’s future sexuality.

You can't put an age on it. Your child may not know that they're lgbt, only that they're different. I didn't know what a gay person was until 14/15 but always knew. Just don't assume their sexuality and be as supportive as you can.
