Son searching for gay porn

My son is 12. Since he was incredibly young, I’ve thought he’ll be gay. I can’t explain why....mannerisms, perhaps. It’s just something I’ve thought. Obviously he’s always been too young for him to have any idea.

His best friend is 11 and identifies as gay.

I recently got him a computer, it’s got child “guards” and he knows I will look at his history, as we talked about it all when he got it. He’s searched for gay “education” and “porn” (in many different ways). Thankfully the BBC sex Ed website was the first place he looked, by the timeline (I suggested it for places to search for things he didn’t want to talk to me about.)

For whatever reason he’s searched for what he has (I couldn’t care if he identifies as a seahorse, for all it matters) are there any age appropriate lgbgt sites I could suggest, in passing? We’re extremely close. Me suggesting a website for “growing up stuff” wouldn’t be taken for anything other than me wanting to suggest somewhere for information.

Hi I would suggest childline it has a whole page on lgbt youth it's very helpful also If he has any questions he can set up a account and email them or have a 1-2-1 counsellor chat if childline is worried about his safety they will track his IP address so if you are also worried about his mental wellbeing that us helpful but dint worry to much and dont suffocate him with checking on him all the time if you trust him a little bit more now he is older he will trust you hope this helped!
