I notice a lot of parents coming here asking about support when their children come out as LGBT. The advice that comes through is that children who are loved and supported have better outcomes then those who find they are not supported. Some children will explore and any out come is possible.

There are some great support organisations around many local where you can go and meet other parents going through these issues.
Counselling is also an option - if you do go down this line make sure the therapist is registered by either UKAP www.psychotherapy.org.uk/registers-standards/about-our-register/ or BACP www.bacp.co.uk/ In the UK anyone can call themselves a therapist with out correct supervision or qualifications.
Groups like the Proud Trust can be a great help: www.theproudtrust.org/resources/parents/
