Mid conversation about Pride being on locally soon. Just came out with it.
She has sen and struggles socially and has a group of friends who are all bi/gay and transgender so I'm not actually sure she is or if she is trying to fit in. Either way I am not fussed, whatever makes her happy, I have gay friends and a gay relative so it's not a big deal.
I just leave her to figure it all out and answer questions if needed right?

How old is she?
In general, I think this is something you leave them to find their own way through. Unless very young or in need of a great deal of support for many issues.

Possibly your DD has chosen to hang around with these people because she feels more accepted with them. She will have probably told her friends a lot sooner than yourself. Either way, whatever she chooses the important thing is to support and show your love. Maybe look up some PRIDES in other close towns that her and her friends could go too?
