Hi I'm hoping some one can help me know my rights here so I don't make a fool of myself in the store.

I ordered several items of furniture from the same range the on the 4th January.
To date the store has only had half of the order come in (including a different dining tabletothe one I ordered) and I have said I will not pay the balance and take receipt of
any furniturs unless they have it all.I do not want to be in a position where I have only half the furniture........

I told the manager two weeks ago that I wanted to cancel the whole order and have my £350 deposit back.

He persuaded me that the rest of my order would be in by the 27th (yesterday) and delivered next wednesday.

I have just phoned the store and a colleague of his has said the manager is not there and the system is not showing the missing items as being available for delivery.

Am I within my rights after 16 weeks to cancel and have my deposit returned???

Have you checked the terms and conditions?

Write to them and set a deadline for delivery. If they fail to come up with the goods by that deadline you can claim compensation for late delivery or demand your money back. If the store refuses to pay you may have to take them to the small claims court.
