Does anyone have any advice on what to expect when going to court for a proof hearing.
Family court. Ex attempting to gain contact with ds (who is 5)has been ongoing for 2-3 years. Was given supervised contact but was stopped as ds was traumatised after.
To cut long story short. Ex hasnt seen ds for 18 months, we had private report written for court, which sheriff has seen, and has now called for 'proof' so he can speak to professional witness to hear evidence.
I'm quite scared really, any mud slinging allowed from him, or will it be quite civil?
We have to provide our own witness i believe.
ex was very abusive and aggressive and has been fined etc for his behaviour.
Anyone had similar experience? wondering what will happen and outcome really.
