Do I need to tell him our baby is born?

I’m not sure if I will keep the pregnancy. The father is mentally unwell, and not nice. Legally do I have to tell him the child is born? Do I have to tell him I if I abort? He has trust issues so he won’t believe a word I say. Can a court order my medical records to confirm?

Which country are you in? You have no legal responsibility to this man if you are not married. Do yourself a favour and don’t name him on anything. Then he has no rights at all. And no, if you have a termination you don’t need to tell him either.
