Guardian ad litem instead of fact finding - would you?

The judge has proposed that if there is a further delay to the case A GAL might be appointed instead of fact finding for CAO and NMO. Surely this isn’t recommended if there’s likely to be findings against him.? Thank you

It would be best practice to appoint a GAL at this stage. Finding of fact is irrelevant to that.
