If you are no longer executor of will , do they write to you ?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me the answer.
I have been non contact with my elderly father since July.
I was executor of his will , obviously I do not want to be now or to be a beneficiary.

What do I do about this ?
Will the solicitor write to me if he has removed me ?

Thanks in advance .

No.

Wills can be updated at any time and the are not shared with anyone unless the person who is making the will chooses to do so.
