I recently have and failed the online competency test - and failed.

Feel pretty deflated.

Any advice would be appreciated ?

Hi
I'm a magistrate. I cannot recollect a competency test though when I applied in 2022. I think I had to do something about making judgements but again, cannot recollect it being a pass/fail situation. The interview was tough, extremely rigorous.

I found YouTube helpful...(really). There's quite a few videos on becoming a JP.

Have you looked at the core competencies, I think there is information on the HMCTS website.
