My case has gone to the RCJ. Anyone else had this? Is there a reason? It’s for NMO and likely children. I am litigating in person. Thank you

There will be a reason but nobody here can tell you what it is unfortunately

I beleive they are designated for overspill of family cases where the local court is unable to schedule a hearing.

Thanks. I wondered if overspill or level of abuse.

Happened to me last year. RCJ usually handles more complex or sensitive matters, especially if minors or public interest issues are involved. It does not always mean something bad, it just means your case needs higher-level jurisdiction.

Thank you. I have a fair idea why.
