My ex has been in and out of our child's life for the past year, easily going 4/5/6 weeks without seeing them. Seeing them for one day and then off again for so many weeks with no contact in between.
We are now going to mediation as he has been asking for more contact recently and is demanding overnights/holidays. Our child also has sen needs and is 4.
I know in mediation he is going to fight this and will want these "rights" immediately however I will not be excepting this so looking for opinions on what you would deal an acceptable amount of time to show consistency before moving up to what he's demanding.
In my head I have 4/5 months as he only wants to see them once a week anyway at this point in time
He is likely to be on best behaviour for a few months while going through this!
