Motor Claim in Civil Court

I have an on-going motor claim since 2021 that involved a minor collision. There was no damage to my car but the other party are holding me liable for the damage to theirs along with personal injuries and PTSD valued at c £10k. My insurers are disputing and are not accepting any liability so the case is now going to civil court of which I need to go as a witness. I understand that it is the PI element of the claim that is going to court . For context, the collision happened side on (so front nearside wing onto front offside wing) and we were doing do more that 10-15 mph as the lights had changed from red to green. The solicitor dealing with the claim believe we have a high chance of succeeding if it gets as far as court.
My question is, what are the chances of it actually reaching court? The other party have reached out and put forward a 50/50 liability but we have refused this offer and stipulated we are willing for the courts to decide. This is all alien to me so hoping someone has some experience and explain what normally happens in cases like this.

Has a trial date been set @Tightasaducksarse?

Yes, due in about 4 weeks time by which time it will have been on-going for 4 years.
