It’s taking up to 18 months for some applications at the moment.

PettyCrocker · 17/06/2025 15:05

Took about 15 months for mine and I believe there’s even more of a backlog now

TeenToTwenties · 17/06/2025 15:06

We got my parents' house registered for the first time. Took 16 months.

BeamMeUpCountMeIn · 17/06/2025 15:06

Ages. Possibly a year.

What type of registration? New titles such as newbuild transfers, new leases and first registrations are taking 1-2 years.

You can ask for it to be expedited if you have a good reason.

Maneattraction · 17/06/2025 20:10

We are 10 months in and counting……

Form submitted to transfer from joint ownership to tennants in common (simple form, simple procedure) in November 2024. Chased numerous times, latest estimate is July 2025, I’ll bet it doesn’t get done by then.

Soffie420 · 18/06/2025 18:09

It’s taken 8 months finally after harassing them over the phone 😅( sorry had to be done as they were taking forever as we were promised 5 months)

SuffolkBargeWoman · 18/06/2025 18:10

Just curious @Soffie420 why did you need it to be done quicker than other people's?

JustPinkFinch · 18/06/2025 18:16

Completed on house in Nov 24 (not a new build), got title docs at beginning of April 25.

House only needed a name change so it should have been basic and not a complex task.

Removal of one of the parties on my deeds submitted late dec 2023 that took until Aug 2024 for LR to change, but although they removed the party they did not remove the tennant in common restriction, solicitor submitted a new request to correct LR mistake but still awaiting…solicitor did say we could submit another form if it was causing me money/ detriment/ hardship to bump it up queue but I would have to show evidence
