Family court requesting criminal disclosure

Hi
Has anyone experienced family court paper work including criminal disclosure even when the alleged crime is under investigation. If so what must they legally do in order for police to disclose?

what type of case is this in the family courts as there is different processes for each.
In short either Children’s social care solicitor or a solicitor acting on behalf of one of the parties must apply for it.
even if the crime is under investigation they would disclose this if relevant to the family court.

I’ve known police to object to release of documents where there is a live case or active prosecution.

They won’t release if it’s an ongoing case you are right, however they will provide certain documentation to confirm there is an investigation such as crime report, initial call etc
