Please could you advise if this is a non compete contract and whether it prevents me from working for competitor?

Have been offered a role with a direct financial services competitor in a non-client facing role

Please could someone let me know if clause d) from my existing contract prevents me from working for a competitor for 6 months?

I really hope not.

Thank you

Yes it is, but the restriction only bites if you are moving to that competitor along with another restricted employee (check the scope of that definition). It's an anti-team move clause. If you don't know if anyone else being hired from your current employer to work for the same new company in connection with your receuitment then you should be fine.

Thank you so much for this!

I am joining a prior manager from my current firm however she left the firm
2 years ago so I'm hoping that this doesn't count.

If you've got legal protection on your house insurance use it to get advice
