Any experience of deprivation of parental rights?

Hello
Without going into too much detail does anyone else have any positive experience with having a fathers parental rights removed (Scotland) can't go into details why for obvious reasons but currently lodged the motion with the court and waiting to hear back. Its most definately in the best interests of my child to have the fathers rights removed but have heard this can be tricky to get granted. So just wondered if anyone has any advice on what else I could do if this isn't granted
Thank you

No experience but I think they're generally wanting to not do this unless father agrees to have them removed. But you'd probably need reports from cafcass or involved professionals if you want to remove PR altogether, without his consent.

Hi
Thanks for your reply. There would be police/sw reports to back up my reasoning for this so hopefully it's enough. I did think it was difficult to get but my solicitor seems to think it will be granted.
