Any Scottish legal bods? Child contact issues

Hoping to be able to get some advice for a friend, residing in Scotland.
She left her partner and took their 2 year old with her, following emotional and financial abuse. She was told by her solicitor not to do anything. His solicitor took her to court for contact/residency. The court decided she had to move back to the county, he gets contact every weekend and another 24 hour visit during the week. The child is becoming more and more distressed at leaving their mother, however the dad has stated he was the main carer (not so). The child is still breastfeeding on occasion. There is supposed to be a welfare reporter involved but won't witness the handover. She also has to get the child to a handover point that is not close by, involving hundreds of miles of travel each week, with no financial help for this. Her solicitor basically says she has to suck it up. She has now made a complaint against him to the police about the abuse.

Can anyone point us to some effective advice, please? She will be contacting a CAB but is struggling with it all...

Did your friend remove the child from England to Scotland?
Or did the friend remove child a long distance from the father?
Did this removal happen without the father's permission?
These answers will affect the advise you get.

@Needanadultgapyear thank you. She moved went from Scotland to England, where she had family. No 'permission' as she was escaping abuse.
