Dispute resolution hearing changed to urgent with 3 days notice

Does anyone know why a “dispute resolution hearing” would be changed to an “urgent directions hearing” with 3 days notice? It’s also been listed at another court to the one the first hearing was at, seems to be as the result of a cafcass safeguarding report.

does this mean cafcass have serious concerns about the other party? (Father)

there is more to this, I’m sorry to drip feed. But don’t want to be too outing

have cafcass given you any feedback on their report?
what date is the urgent directions hearing? are you litigant in person or have a solicitor?

No, the court order states that they don't give permission for the cafcass report to be shared with the parties, but it's been sent to social services. I don't have a solicitor. Hearing is on Tuesday.

We'd already had a directions hearing, but it's now changed to urgent and happening again on Tuesday

i'd say if the report can't be shared and has been sent to social services something has cropped up that raises child protection concerns. that would explain the urgent directions hearing to get an interim order in place to safeguard the children from whatever it is that Cafcass have uncovered. just my amateur opinion though.

Social services called me a few weeks ago saying cafcass had passed it onto them to do a CAF assessment, due to safeguarding concerns re ex. SS undertook this assessment and said they're stepping down and passing back to cafcass as there's no contact currently taking place so nothing to safeguard DCs from. Now all this has happened.

child and family assessments don't happen when everything is ship shape and shiny. i think somethings cropped up. you aren't going to know until Tuesday which will feel like a lifetime i'm sure
