Cut head at soft play & possible GDPR breach

My DS (4) cut his head at soft play yesterday. He was in a tunnel so I didn’t see it happen (albeit I was right outside the tunnel so he was supervised) but he has a small deep cut on his head that needed glue. It looks like it’s been caused by something sharp although he can’t remember how it happened and it’s right on his forehead so not an obvious bump to the head.

I’ve emailed the soft play asking if they’ll investigate this but not had a response as of yet.

Is there anyone I should be reporting them to from a health and safety point of view?

Secondly, a woman working at the soft play text me last night at about 10pm. I can only assume she got my number from our online booking and has messaged from her personal phone. This seems to me a bit of a breach of data protection but not sure if I’m being over sensitive?

Any advice on if I should be taking this any further appreciated. I mainly just don’t want anyone else to get hurt.

Thank you everyone for your advice. I’ve now heard back from the soft play centre and I’m happy that they have investigated it to prevent any future injuries which was what my priority was, they have also raised with the manufacturer of the incident so couldn’t ask for more really and glad they have taken it seriously.

In terms of the phone number I was clearly just being over-sensitive, in my tired and stressed state after an afternoon in A&E with two kids! Thank

Why on earth would you be asking about gdpr just because someone asked how he was? You sound like a professional complainer.
