Court failing to answer my query- it’s been 6 months

I have contacted the county court ( Wandsworth) for a particular form to do with my flat’s lease extension - having received no reply despite their automatic email reply saying they aim to answer in 5 days, I rang them up back in November and they said they have a turnover of 17 weeks. That’s now elapsed too. Any suggestions in how to chase up? - I feel another email isn’t going to do anything.

Do you know the name and number of the form?

TheGander · 11/05/2024 18:53

Hello, yes it’s a signed and authenticated payment form, Form 200.

Payment schedule for the Court Funds Office?

TheGander · 12/05/2024 18:06

Yes, that’s what it is, to prove to the Court Funds Office that I made the payment. It was made a few years ago. Any way to prompt the County Court? They make it clear in their website they do not accept unsolicited visits so I don’t know what to do. Seems they have lost my request. Have re-emailed but not holding out much hope. Is there an equivalent of a complaints office or ombudsman for the courts?

There are details of how to contact the court funds office on the bottom of the CFO200 form, have you tried those rather than going through Wandsworth CC?

TheGander · 12/05/2024 18:46

It’s the Court Funds office who have instructed me to get Wandsworth CC to provide the form 200. I need that form and Wandsworth has it but they’re not answering.
