Husband hiding all assets to leave me with nothing

Hi,

I'd really be grateful for anyone's ideas or own experience.

As per the title really, husband is self employed, clearly thriving, he is living a very luxurious lifestyle, huge house, luxury car, holidays.

He currently pays child maintenance of £7 per week.

Despite there being a lot of equity in the house, he has crafted everything so it looks like he has so much debt there is nothing left.

I can't believe he is getting away with it. Lawyers say there is nothing we can do as he has provided accounts showing the business is making a loss. But he is clearly funding a lavish lifestyle.

Please does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do?

Thanks in advance.

Have you gone ahead with a Form E? This would mean both of you giving full financial disclosure so would be things like house, cars, pensions?

Thank you, yes we have. The only assets are the house and the business so with him claiming it's making a loss it's leaving nothing in the pot.

It probably won't help you with maintenance but I would be sorely tempted to report him to HMRC. It appears that his lifestyle and spending would not accord with his declared income.
