I bought a leasehold flat end of October and the completion bill included the apportionment of service charges due from completion to the end of the year which I paid my solicitor and they paid over to the vendors solicitors. They are still sitting on this money and are refusing to correspond with me and in the meantime I am being chased by the managing agents for the money owing. My solicitor has also chased them to no avail.
Does anyone have experience of the SRA and would this be valid grounds for making a complaint against my vendors solicitors even though I am not their client?
