Hello,
So we have reported our landlords as they deny any fault with our rental property and refuse to fix anything (mould plus many other issues)
We contacted environmental health at the council last week, they have emailed us today to say they are visiting for an inspection next week. If anyone has had this before, what happens at the inspection? Will the landlords have been informed about this?
We did tell them the last time we contacted them that we have no option but to contact them and they weren't bothered Confused

We did this when the flat we were renting had an extremely dampness all over. We rented it in hot July in 30 plus temperature, so we didn't see any issues with mold which were covered with quick paint lick however when the Autumn started we had water dropping on our heads one morning from the ceiling, the whole flat was like a damp sponge, single glazed windows slide which would shut etc, heating did not work.
Black mold on my all clothes and also high humidity that all made of paper was damp.
Anyway the landlord ignored us, we contacted the environmental health and they sent the block manager in.
He was literally shocked and offered us another flat in different block to immediately move in.
I remember the last night before we left, we had 4 degrees Celsius in the flat.
My health got damaged there too, I developed a bad asthma with high sensitivity to mold, which I will have suffer from forever.
