Grievance - Non payment of bonus

Hey can anyone advise pls. I signed a contract last year, snr leadership position, my line mgr didn't agree the conditions for my bonus related pay, which was in my offer letter as a variable pay component, subject to performance measures (never discussed or agreed with me) and this was guaranteed to be paid for the first full 12 months. It wasn't stated in the contract only the offer letter.

I tried discussing, nothing was ever agreed. So now I found myself without this being paid and I wondered if I have a legal position. It's one of many issues. but I am under 2 years of service.

Was it a generic offer letter? If the parameters for the bonus were not agreed and in the contract I can't see you would have much of a case as you cannot prove that you met whatever the performance requirements were.

Edit: Talk to HR if you only accepted the job because of the expected bonus you might have an argument I suppose.
