I had a call from my bank asking all manner of questions, including requesting to see a copy of the deeds to my house. Which is mortgage free. I rang them back and it was a genuine call from he "know your customer" team.
Has anyone else received such a call? Is it legal? A follow up letter states it's to meet UK legal and regulatory requirements
