Child arrangements order - address of non-resident parent?

Hi, ex has said he has had to give up his rented property where the children have been going for the last 3 years since separation. He has said it is due to financial reasons and has had to "seek alternate accommodation" this doesn't sound as if he has found another rented property so I'm a bit worried he's sofa surfing.. Does anyone know if as the resident parent I can insist I know where the children will be sleeping when they go to him? Its not going to be for a while, if at all, as he's just cancelled contact time because of this change of circumstances but I just wanted to know if he suddenly turns up to take them if I have any rights to know where they are going to be sleeping? Thanks. I have a CAO but its not written in it.

No, there's no legal requirement for him to tell you where your kids are sleeping I'm afraid. It seems ridiculous but it's true
