Orphan children, grandparents live abroad

I wanted to ask if anyone knew the immigration laws are for grandparents living abroad, to live in the UK. Children are 13 and 11 and their mother died recently. Father is absent.
Grandparents are in the UK to help but how long can they stay?

Is there an immigration lawyer on mumsnet that can provide guidance?

I would imagine it depends on which country they came from, as to what the UK allows in terms of visit length. I assume the home office would be their first port of call: www.gov.uk/government/organisations/uk-visas-and-immigration

It would depend which country they are from & also how much money they have.

I would recommend contacting your MP (as long as its not Suella Braverman) and ask who might be able to offer support.

Hope it all works out for the children
