Family Court; Solicitor Negligence?

I was granted an NMO against XP after a contested final hearing last year. Judge made findings that he had been violent and coercive towards me. XP has breached the order several times since it has been in place. I reported a recent breach to police and was told that the order had never been served on XP and so was not in place. This was absolutely devastating and I am furious with my solicitors to whom I have paid approx £20,000 to in the last 12 months. Judge has advised that it was the solicitors duty to file service of the order after court date but this was never done. I have made a complaint to the firm and have tried to contact the head of family law there several times but I feel like I am banging my head against a wall. All they have offered me is a £200 "goodwill gesture" which is an insult. I am determined to get some of my money back because I for sure did not receive the service that I paid for. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any input would be much appreciated.
