DP share in my house after he paid for renovations

I solely own our home (no mortgage luckily) but DP has paid a very large amount into it recently for much needed renovations. We would like the documents to reflect his investment (about 20%) but I have no clue what I need to ask for from solicitor? Can I get conveyancer instead? And very importantly, what implications does this have for me?

You both need your own solicitor to protect your individual interests. A Deed of Trust is an option.
