Withholding my address on civil court papers

Hi, I have a matter that needs to go to civil court against my former landlord for non-protection of deposit. I was being assisted by a housing rights organisation who were going to lodge it for me but their funding has stopped and they are closing down. This means that I now have to lodge the papers myself.

My former landlord is a very unsavoury character who has had numerous letters about harassment, been prosecuted by the local council and other regulatory bodies. He also has his 'friends' who are addicts and criminals and very rough, violent sorts of people. I now live in another area but not that far geographically from the landlord.

My worry is that if they get my address off the court papers, that they may harass me or even worse.

Can I submit the papers with an explanation to the court to ask for my address to be with held on the grounds that I am scared for my safety?
