Is there a way to find out someones sentence/punishment?

A family member is due in magistrates court soon but they are not being clear about what the offence is.

is there a way to find out online what the sentence is? It’s magistrates, not crown court. I know the name of the court but not getting anywhere with google.

Do you know the court date? You can contact the court to ask - it should be listed the day before the trial so you can find out the charge and then the outcome is a matter of public record afterwards so the court should tell you.
