Abusive ex accusing his barrister of undue influence during mediation

My ex is a controlling cunt. We were both represented by experienced barristers and a judge presided as mediator. We reached a settlement, but cunty ex has decided to renege as he didn’t get his own way on a few points after mediation. He has now accused his barrister of placing undue influence over him and saying an agreement never took place (despite evidence to the contrary). We are all shocked he has stooped this low (including my legal team, who said they’ve never experienced this before, and judge at the hearing today).

I feel broken beyond belief as I need to get away from him and start a new life. I feel sorry for his barrister. Judge has given him the opportunity to provide a statement, but has warned him the bar for proving such an allegation will be high and very costly.

My wonderful barrister was absolutely gutted for me.

Any words of advice from anyone in the legal profession? How would you feel at such an accusation (assuming it no undue influence happened)?

No words of advice - but giving this a little bump and sending you massive squishes. What a knobjockey. :/

He is being stupid. The judge's warning was a polite way of saying he has about as much chance of success as a snowball in hell.

What the PP said. The judge is basically saying he's pissed off and won't change his mind unless your ex comes up with something staggering...if he doesn't, the judge sounds like he'll award against him even more than he would have as he's wasting court time and proving he's a wanker.

He's being stupid and has just made it abundantly clear to the judge what kind of person he is
