Foreign Birth Registration - did your solicitor witness yours?

Hello, I've finally got all my documentation together to apply for Foreign Birth Registration.

Out of the prescribed witnesses I've chosen to ask my solicitor, just wondered if anyone else has done this and what they were charged? I asked my vet and they haven't responded.

In the end I got a friend who’s a doctor to do it, but prior to that I’d asked the solicitors firm who’d handled my property purchase ( because they need to be known to you) and they quoted £150

Thank you speakingofart - I've just heard my dentist will do it for me - and my vet! I didn't hear back from the vet until today, I'd assumed it was a no.
