I have been harassed online by someone for months. When I finally snapped and went to report her, I got arrested for harassing her. The police seized my phone. I was accused of harassment and mal comms. I was bailed then RUI, I can disprove all of her allegations based on not being in the U.K. and showing I didn't send what she has alleged etc.

I work away but three police officers went to my house this afternoon. Obvs I'm not there & when asked, they wouldn't elaborate but said "it's nothing to worry about".

I called my solicitor and spoke to him but heard nothing since.

My dad is recently widowed and really unwell, I'm supposed to be taking him away on Friday to the coast and to see his family.

will the police be waiting for me at home to arrest me?

Please help. If it was nothing to worry about, why would there be 3 of them?

I'm not sure how anyone here can possibly answer your question. You should speak to a solicitor and retain them to act for you. They should be able to find out what the police intend to do.

It’s more likely you’d be invited in for an interview rather than just being arrested out of the blue. It could be there were three officers as they don’t know you and didn’t know how you’d react.
