Does anyone know where I can get affordable advice for an ongoing family law issue around domestic abuse and child contact? I'm desperate.

Woman’s Aid can post you in the direction of local solicitors specialising in this .
they will also be able to investigate a legal aid application and if you are eligible due to domestic abuse.

Thank you. Women's aid sadly can't offer legal advice, but are absolutely amazing. I spent two hours trying to get through to rights of women but it's so so difficult. I'll keep trying

Women’s Aid can put you in touch with a local domestic abuse charity who can assist with getting a good solicitor.
have you spoken with someone there and if so have they given you these details?

Womens Aid will have established links with local solicitors. I don't think anyone suggested they'd be able to give you legal advice, but they can put you in touch with someone who can.
