Medical negligence of DS from his Dad

I need some help or advice please.

My ex is going against what a doctor has said about giving our son his.medicine.

He has asthma and needs this tablet and its a preventer. My ex thinks he knows better and won't give him this medicine. My son has been on a week holiday with him and hasn't giving him his inhalers, tablets or reflux medicine.

I spoke to the doc earlier and he said it was important to keep giving the tablet and inhalers but not so much on reflux med to see if he's grown out of it. I relayed the message to ex and he's saying noI bet he doesn't need the tablet or any of his medicine.

What do I do? I'm currently seeking legal advice for a court order. But has anyone been through the same? DS is suppose.to be going to exes tomorrow

Isnt medical abuse a form of child abuse, I would call his doctor and your solicitor, the nspcc have a website about this who may be able to advise you.

Yes I checked on the nspcc, it is a form of abuse.
I spoke to his doctor yesterday and informed him of the situation. This is where he told me not to stop the asthma meds and ex should have consulted medical professionals first before stopping. I'm awaiting an email from the solicitor for a consultation but no idea how long this will take.

This is neglect and gan be classed as child abuse.

Safeguarding through my work place states medical negligence, physical negligence and emotional support are all forma of child abuse.

I would withdraw contact temporarily and contact solicitor to sort this out.

Good luck.

Thank you. I think I need to do it.

But how can I trust this man to give DS medicine in the future when he lies to me and gets DS to lie to me about if he's had it or not
