Wording on employment contract on working place

My DPs work are relocating, 12 miles away and the new site will not be accessible by public transport. His employment contract states the address of his working place, followed by “or any other site that weather reasonably determine”.

im guessing this is vague enough for them to not have to pay redundancy when they move? He doesn’t drive and won’t be able to get there.

People do drive but what if they're off sick. That would effect me. The issue is the small Company haven't even given me any options, they've just said "we won't be taking you with us". I've worked for them for over 2 years but under 3 years.

Some will give transitional payments to cover extra travel cost such as taxi for a limited time. Could anyone liftshare? If it is further away than is “reasonable” you could be made redundant. How long have you worked there ?

Hi. So I've worked there over two years but less than 3. Lift share isn't an option and could create issues if the person offering the lift share is sick.
It just comes across that they don't want to be hassled with my travel problems and said "We're not taking you with us". I've been a good employee so I feel let down.

So have they offered redundancy, since your position in longer exists in that location. Why could you not get a taxi if lift falls through? Even if you can take transport partway.
