I need to know if there is a link available like there is in the UK that you have on the .gov website that has the calculator for working out child maintenance? I can’t find something specific? Dc father (abusive, court ordered no contact) owes me in under payments, moved to New York to avoid this and is now not paying anything. I am trying to chase down the legal route but is very long and still have no help from the Remo office side of things here as there is a back log. He has realised I am pursuing this legally (he did not expect this) and suggests making a private arrangement but only if I give him all the dc education and health records, which I’m refusing to do due to safe guarding as he does not have our new address or dc school etc) school agree with me as does the GP so the only way would be him going to court to obtain the info that way. So he keeps saying how he doesn’t know what it says in America what he should pay, there must be a website or page that states this simply isn’t there? Please could anyone share this with me as I’m going round in circles!

For REMO you can get an order in the UK then start the REMO process and enforce in NY the UK order.

@Collaborate thank you. I’m really struggling at the moment as there is such a wait. I haven’t even had the forms from the UK Remo department(whatever they are called). So is there not a link that I can send him to show him how to work it out? I googled and could see a basic working out but wanted to know if there was a leg/specific website like we have the .gov.uk website in the Uk if there was the same in New York?

I don’t know about New York, but you have a choice of forums.

Even though the kids' father has no contact, if he has PR he may well still be entitled to see their medical and education records as long as your address, and any other personal information which might pose a risk, is redacted. Does your court order specify that he can't have medical or education records? Might be worth you taking advice on that.
